Actually whats the craic with booking the lodge? Anyone taking care of it or is it a case of just turn up and book in off the street? I take it we'll be grand for dinner and stuff, any place should easily be able to accomodate 3 of us.

I'll book that lodge tomorrow, I've the number here somewhere.

As for food, plenty of places to choose from, and there should be no need to book, despite the massive demand the 3 of us will put on whatever restaurant we choose.

I think my younger cousin is coming along for the road trip too, so we'll have a camera man. I'll bring the wide angle lens to make sure we can fit in most of the cars :P

I've made a call too and have arranged some decent weather!

You are staying in Breaffy House Hotel, which is 3 miles out of town, I will pop in for the craic but I do not need a room, anyway you will come to Cbar to visit some pubs, I shall be your guide :) but remember this is culchieland, do not expect miracles, Mc Hale is typical local place, I like it Irish House is nice, for the courageous (or desperate) Mantra nightclub.

Good stuff Witcher. Be nice to have a new face along.

No harm in that, cant exactly call myself a city slicker either, born and breed many miles from the nearest town, and much prefer it too.

Ah, good to see you found the good spots Marcin, McHales is a good spot for the Guinness, so was planning to bring the lads there alright. Mantra, desperate, or just looking for a young (very young) wan.

Will be good to see the new face anyway, and I've PM'd you the mobile, so you can give me a call when you're ready Saturday and I'll let you know where we are.

Just back now and am pretty wrecked. I know I did over 800km in the since yesterday morning, so I'm guessing MJ and Bernard easily broke 1,000km?
Really enjoyed the meet though, good drive with a mixture of roads, stunning scenery, and finished it off with a few nice pints. And nice to see a new face too, Marcin (witcher), so fair play for coming along, and great to meet you.
Couple of photos here, taking them was half the craic.

Good meet lads. Will load up photos later. My trip meter was reading 50km last night, so it went the full way round, 1050km. Well worth it though. Thanks to Tom for organizing it, and for the breakfast, and thanks to Witcher for the vodka. :)
