Warning light

Postby sconson » Wed Dec 10, 2008 11:05 am

Lads,

Orange warning light (top right hand corner) just came on this morning. I presume its the Oil warning light, could be wrong! Is this the engine or gear box oil?

Cheers!

Was in blinking when you braked hard or going round corners?
If so, could be just your g-meter. New owners generally only get this light working after a couple of weeks when they start pushing the car a bit harder.

Damn it, thought I was in there first this time. Sorry sconson, had to be done.
Anyway, will try to be helpful, have a look here and you can tell us what light is in for sure.
Actually, the top right is the washer reservoir, so it may be as I suspected.

Yeah its definitely in the right position on the panel but its a different diagram, looks more like a tank so I reckon its the washer reservoir, sure I'll stick in some and see does it clear it up!

That instrument panel is off a 5 speed tip where mine is a '95 4 speed tip, maybe thats why the diagram is slightly different .
