Any New Zealand Members?

Any members from New Zealand here? I'm moving there in a few months and looking for a bit of background info as in safe spots to stay etc. Planning to stay in the Whangarei region hopefully. Will need to know about the best places for living, (as in security), and best place I might buy a car, etc. (FTO preferably, or GTO, something along those lines anyway).
Also do ye have an FTO based website or forum group?
