got a odd problem when driving???

car seems to hunt only when changing gear mainly downshifting? i have checked and cleaned the stepper motor and seems to be in good working order aswel as the wiring. i checked all vacuum hoses and no splits in them, i have recently change all to silicone coloured ones but the car as been fine since then so doubt its those. am i missing anything, i cleaned air flow sensor lightly with a carb cleaner. what could this be. i had to adjust the idle screw on throttle body because idle was far too high after i reset ecu.

I don't really know what you mean by hunt. Do you mean down on power or just a bit 'off'?

Where did you fill up last, lots of dodgy places around at the moment selling pi$$ water. If I fill my car with anything other than Maxol E5 then it effects it (this includes Topaz, I will argue with you on that one!)

Don't forget it takes 2/3 fills to get a crap one out of it's system...
