It's very odd. It doesn't seem like the kind of car you could go to the trouble of buying without realising it was unusual to have one.

Well Wildhound, I was surprised that this "community" existed. I was put in touch by a friend who knows a few members through his RX7.
With all I know now though, I realise how special the FTO and can see your point 100%. It's a brilliant site with a great bunch of members on here.

lets all be serious :)

a simple google search for FTO in ireland for example would turn out in a membership on this forum .
Is the FTO so common nawadays that people seem not so passionate about their cars? is internet such a heavy tool ?

anyway i'm glad to be a part of this & i'm deffinately a PROUD owner of the FTO

Good point Seb. I think broad band in this country is very low by European standards. I bet alot of FTO owners don't surf the web. Pity. This is a wealth of information for any FTO owner.

I found this forum before buying my FTO (as a couple of the new members did as well).. I was very surprised to subsequently find out that I had actually been working in the same company as one of the long time members..

After getting my car - I promptly flyered a couple of ftos around town..

I have to say without this site and the people on here - I don't think I'd still have my FTO today - I would have been broke and/or stuck.

It's great to see new members taking an active part - and in particular the "spotted2 section has seen something of a boost lately..

Top class guys!
