My DIY day

Got bored so I decided I'd paint my callipers and locking nuts. Went fromImage Image Image

Very happy with the days work. I also decided to paint my FTO sign. Worked out pretty nice actually

Whoopsie, should have left the bolts dry before putting them back in. Nothing that a bit of white spirits won't get rid of.

Great job on the calipers, they look well behind the white alloys.

Not so sure about the painting on the FTO badge if I'm honest. Personal taste though.

I left the bolts to dry for 2 days. The paint rubbed off. if i had brains I would've sanded em a bit first but we learn from our expriences. Ya white spirits is my friend. The pic doesn't reli do the badge justice. It looks quites nice but ya like u sais personal taste.

Calipers look well Ray, is it just me though or did you also paint the pads? If so Id suggest not painting the pads next time you replace them, as when you take them off theres a chance they'll peel some of the paint off the caliper if done in the same sweep. Follow?
You did get a good colour match with the car though and some nice tidy painting around the disc, good job there.

Ya I'm gettin the pads changed today so I didn't think it'd matter but ya I get what your saying. Hopefully that won't happen. :?
