Hi everyone, Ryan here N.ireland Co.derry
Joined few years ago but never posted when I purchased a silver 95 GPX mivec triptronic

Loved the car and the noise but it was pretty rotten underneath
In the end I got sick of welding it every mot and sold it on for something fresher

Ended up with an 06 Mazda rx8. Lovely car but the running costs (£495 of tax and average 15-20mpg) sucked my wallet dry
Plus with me trying to fund a motorbike racing addiction it had to go
Sold it and now have my hands on a white 96 manual gr
Still needs a bit of tlc but I like something to work on
Good bit is that it was imported in 2007 and under sealed right away so the floor and chassis are solid as a rock

Do miss the mivec noise but then I suppose that stops me revin it so hard!

Looks like a nice find. I hope she wears well for you.

Mivec is just the cherry on top when it comes to FTOs, they're all incredible machines, you'll hardly miss it after a while.

And you'll get no sympathy talking about motor tax

Motor tax here on an fto is €710. Regular raping from our government.

Yeah loving the v6 again feels quicker than my old 230bhp rx8 down low

Hmmm yeah ive friends from south and your nct and road tax is bit mental.
So glad i only pay £230 for the year for the fto
And the mpg is huge improvement over the mazda

Plus it turns more heads than the mazda ever did

Needs front bumper sprayed and a general tidy up

Going to attempt changing tappets and do the timing belt this week
