Dash Light Removal??

has anyone got a pic of the back of the clocks and what type of bulb illuminate the full clocks are they easy to remove or is there soldering involved??

Simple enough job, no soldering needed. Will post pics later from when I changed to glow dials.

they just unclip, they only need a 1/4 of a turn to remove.

the speedo unit itself is quite easy to remove. First, adjust your steering wheel down, then unscrew the two screws on the underside of the facia, the facia then clips off. unplug your fog light and aeriel switches, then the speedo unit is accessable.
The unit itself is removable by 4 (?) Philips head screws, one in each corner.
The speedo unit just pulls straight out, just pull it evenly out from both sides at the same time. there are no plugs to unplug, the speedo unit and the dash have contacts that plug in when the speedo unit is installed.
