No and no. The engine bay is a matt gold/silver colour. As with all metallic cars the engine bay is not finished in metallic. If you look into your own engine bay you will see the paintwork is not the same as the exterior of the car.
Thanks for making the suggestion on my for sale thread though

Sorry but it just looks white in those Carzone pics... I didn't mean to suggest there was anything wrong with the car!

Check out the engine bay pictures of this car. The car is the same colour.
In dark light the exterior looks like a gold colour, in bright light it looks more silver. As you can see the engine bay looks much the same, perhaps a little darker than mine, but only because mine is nice and clean! In any case you can see that the engine bay colour does not match the exterior of this car either.

Thanks CJ.
I took the pictures yesterday was hoping to give it a good polish but the changeable weather stopped me in my tracks  I'm not sure what the official name of the colour is. Is it symphonic silver?
I am really liking the facelift bumper, looks so well and really does change the overall appearance of the car

At the risk of hijacking my own thread and sending it off topic......
Check out the engine bay pictures of this car.

This guy has changed his price from POA to €14950.
It's a symphonic silver tiptonic GX like mine, and admittedly is a year younger with lower miles. but €14950! Makes my car look like the bargain of the century
Looking more closely at the interior, I thought all facelift cars had the momo leather steering wheel, also the a/c unit does not look familiar to me :?

Its manual a/c as opposed to climate control, not standard on the GX IIRC, same goes for the Momo steering wheel. You'll also notice it doesn't have sideskirts, again, not standard on the GX. I suppose you could say its a bog standard model, I would be interested to see how long it takes him to drop his price. I'm really not a fan of those seat covers either, NOI in case you've got 'em ;)

Oh yeah, nice comparison plug Mustang :)

I still have my doubts about this one :?

Unlike mine which has the sports pack 8)

Nah you can see my seat covers in the pics above.

Oh yeah, nice comparison plug Mustang

You know, you're right. Come to think of it, the GR was still produced in facelift form and had manual aircon as standard, I reckon the 14k one is a GR.

It makes sense that yours is a GX Sports Package which had climate control and a leather wheel but no skirts as standard. The GX Sports Package aero series on the other hand has skirts (+ vR spoiler), leather wheel and manual aircon (gets confusing doesn't it?!).

Anyway, yours is a cracker of a car whatever spec it has, lets get back to selling ;)

I have not actually polished the car, believe it or not. I've just washed it. Does look shiney in the pics though :)
Today was my first day actually driving the car on the open road. Sweeeeeet, that V6 is music to my ears :smt020

Well last Sunday with nothing to do and all day to do it, sunny weather, and armed with a sports car and digital camera there was only ever going to be one outcome. :D

The first few snaps taken outside the FTO-Ireland midlands sub-office.

Nice pics Mustang -

Got to drive this car yesterday - as clean an FTO as I have ever seen in the flesh and I've seen quite a few. First time I drove a 5speed tip - its a nice improvement over the 4 speed box.
