AE86's can cost 8 or 9 grand, they were common as muck in Ireland in the late 90's, and could be bought for tiny sums. Since drifting became popular, prices have soared.
This 70's Levin is ultra rare, and is also RWD with a twin cam 115bhp engine. I don't think it's worth 14k, but I'd give 10k for it easily (if I needed 3 cars!)

Import one from a coutry where drifting hasn't hit the scene quite as hard yet.. Denmark for instance - cars aren't cheap but you can pickup a fixer upper for quite cheap.

The FTO is old school enough for me. These yokes would be a lot more horrible to drive than you can imagine unless significantly upgraded in the engine, suspension and brakes department.

There will come a time in the not too distant future (I'd say 10years) when the FTO will be much more sought after piece of old school than this Corolla/Levin.

Yeah true - but would it really matter if you go the chance to do up one of these ladies?
I've driven German cars in Ireland - and once you get used to pratically sitting on the sidewalk whilst driving it's not really that unpleasant.. Overtaking is a bit trickier than normal though.
