Depending on my mood, an RX-7, Skyline or Supra, I nearly went and bought a Teg-R before my first FTO...

Nice Topic - I'd say I'd have a GTO or an older Subaru WRX/STI.

Well MfFTO you started this topic what about yourself :?:
There's a lot of serious heavy metal listed here, supra's, evo's, skylines, Rx-7's, etc
Just wondering realistically -would you guys really have taken on that extra level of performance/EXPENSE. I'd imagine the purchase price and running costs of all of these cars would be far in excess of those for the FTO.

This is exactly the reason I started the topic - Supras/EVO's/Skylines/RX7's are all fantastic cars but are on a different planet cost wise to run to the FTO.
When I first looked for an FTO (5yrs ago now) I also looked at Alfa GTV's, TEG R's and MR2's. None appealed as much as the FTO. When I sold my last FTO I had to have something equally cult and bought a demo Racing Puma (only 450 ever made - 7 in Ireland) which had fantasic handling and brakes but still wouldn't compete looks or performance wise with my present GPX manual. So - Racing Puma - 38K new or second-hand GPX Manual 8K and I prefer the GPX manual (albeit with a few mods) - go figure.
