Finally got a day free to care to my new fto
, adjusted the two doors so they sat flush,,added a new radio and managed to find the FTO radio adapter so it would fit a European connection,, Don't bother asking any1 in halfords coolock to help once you mention FTO the reply is no we don't have it or a WHA?, suprise suprise i went in and found the Galant connection fitted perfectly,, now i came around to the kick plates, the drivers side doesnt seem to be working, the transformer for both kick plates is located about a foot up from the drivers side,,(near fuse box),, i think this trasformer is actually to increase the voltage?? as i got a bit ov a kick from it when i attempted to remove the fuse
,so without having to get out the voltmeter i attempted to open up the kick plate, im familar with electronics but i thought thered be an led or bulb in here instead i find a flate Alien looking object,, Any1 know were i could get my hands on one of these as a quick soldering job should do the trick?
