Thats a nice find Muad - Very tempting at that money too - its quite a project though - a lot of work goes into fitting a VR4 engine into the FTO engine bay. Still if I needed to change my engine - It would be seriously tempting. You could probably spec this engine up to 300bhp without too many issues - thats a lot of poke for a FWD chassis to cope with though.

Yeah I know..I would love to have a go in one before I REALLY start thinking about it.... maybe it just doesn't add up at all.. There's little point in big power if you can't get it down - or it just bends the chassis..

any ways - it's just a pipe dream...I'm ordering my tires today - that'll do me for a wee bit...

Goodies ;-) Going for the F1s ... decided that it would be silly to go for a lesser piece of rubber as the savign wouldn't be great..

Didn't make that all important phone call yet...can already feel the Creditcard melting in my pocket..

Oh ...to keep this on topic I got a shipping quote on that block above..

shipping us$595

Not too bad I suppose.. I doubt it'd be easy to find one of those VR4 block lying about in somebodys shed..
