Eircom Phonewatch

Postby Kace » Mon Jun 09, 2008 4:20 pm

Any Eircom Phonewatch gurus out there. We moved into a place that has a pre-installed Phonewatch system. The normal monitored system obviously places a phone call to the Eircom Phonewatch HQ whenever the alarm is tripped.

My question - is it possible to re-program the system so that it calls your phone and other numbers chosen by you, instead of calling Eircom when the alarm is tripped ? I would much rather be notified myself rather than having Eircom do the notifying. I would also prefer not to pay them the exhorbitant monthly monitoring fee.

Anyone heard of this being done ? it must be possible.
