You might want to lower the asking price a little, for me. I'd never pay lots for a non MIVEC FTO, no matter how clean or new.
Even a 00 is 8 years old now, going on the prices paid by some of the people on this forum, facelifts aren't commanding the huge premium that they were a year or two ago.
Car sales in general have slowed down considerably (trust me), and people are more mindful of things like fuel economy than they were.

unfortunately it's hard enough now selling FTO's at a high price . a bit different then it was 1-2-3 years ago . times are changeing

poolfan see the ones that are over 8 k on the market .. they are there for months now and very small interest .

considerring that now you can get propper gpx i'd say under 5 K it's a bit hard to price an FTO over 8 k ( in my oppinion it has to be a HUGE spec attached to that price ) .

Remember , they are still pretty hard to insure(dunno if it's good or bad) , thats why they are such a big turn-off at a hight price
BUT i'm sure you'll find a buyer for your car(the fact that the market it's slow now doesnt have to scare you ).

good luck with the sale . car looks mint

If I was spending 8k on an FTO, It'd be hard to ignore JayVR's one.

That's the sort of cars you're up against, the difference between a 98 or a 00 isn't a lot (8 years vs 10 years), just because CC Imports are asking €9950 for a 1.8 and Jap Cars want €9900 for another 1.8, it doesn't make yours a bargain.

Hey there,

I am having a little interest in mine (CJs old one) but it is slow. Thankfully I am not in a rush to sell it. The people who are calling about it are saying "it's a bit overpriced for a 1994 model" but someone looking for a proper car sorted in every way will buy it... like I did in Feb this year. To be honest, I would rather see it go to someone who will appreciate it.

and the full advert

I thought it would have went by now.... but the market is slow!

Cheers,

Adrian

The GPvR I bought recently was parked up and off the road for 6 months before I took it... And it was black, and manual...
