i run now on 205/45/17 all wheels !
but i want to fit wider on the back ! 215 maybe..

will this affect the NCT thing ?

Fitting wider wheels on the back than on the front will only help to increase understeer especially on a FWD car like the FTO. Just go 215/45 17 on all wheels.

got 2 new tyres 205/45/17 on the back and the same size on the front (but they need replacement)
i wouldnt want to buy 4 new 215

Be Careful running 215/45/17's I'm running these on lowering Apex Springs and having all sorts of problems. I'm changing all four tyres for 215/40/17's to resolve. i.e Wheel arch liner's rubbing... failing NCT since last July....Be careful
