Off to Egypt (Sinai)

Postby IrishPhoenix » Wed Mar 29, 2006 2:22 pm

Well lads and ladies I'm off for one week to Sharm El Sheik in Sinai for some rest in the sun. So I bid thee farewell for now. Can't wait to relax in the sun. A much needed break :)

You know, somebody actually complimented me on my driving today. They left a little note on the windscreen, it said 'Parking Fine'.

Very jealous!
Have been there a few times, dive a bit there when I can. If you are interested, has some of the best diving (and snorkelling) in the world. You will be amazed by the colour and variety of fish.
In one day just snorkelling, I spotted 2 reef sharks, two manta rays (one absolutely massive), two or three moray eels, in addition to the countless little fishies which you might meet soon......
Sat on the bottom on a dive looking up at about (and I'm not exaggerating) 100 hammerheads. Scary but amazing

Maybe Sneak in a trip to the Sahara and a smelly Camel ride.
Oh and try the Sheesha pipes - just the tobacco variety of course

Enjoy

Make sure its a funky monkey!

I was up around Giza a few years back checking out the pyramids etc, fantastic to see them but the hawkers trying to sell you sh!t really got on my wick, they were relentless to the extreme.
