Phoenix Park Motor Races Meet Aug 11/12th

I know this thread will probably be moved but who's up for an FTO meet at these races this coming weekend? There is meant to be a Bugatti Veyron at it!
Short notice but I'm sure there's a few old and new members who would be up for this including myself and it's free! We could meet up beforehand for an hour or so of tyre kicking.

What sort of time on the Sunday guys? Theres free parking in the park for the event so it will probably be bananas around the place....

Ah lads and ladies, we can't even get 10 cars to this? I know some of you are away but but for such an active forum the turn outs at these meets is pretty poor esp the Dublin members- so come on and get the finger out :smt021

Lets pick a meeting point for the drive up, unless anyone has any objections, I'm going to suggest the carpark in the Halfway House pub on the Navan Road (on the roundabout beside the new apartments on the old Racecourse) @ 11am. The Phoeno is just round the corner. Ok with folks?

That's cool or one of the petrol stations on the Nav Road (M50 end) if there's no parking at the pub!

It was grand, not a lot of action on the track as it was a bit wet and mucky but the Veyron made up for it I think, I've sent on pics of it to CJ to stick up.

It was a good meet if a littler wt and mucky - should have brought the wellies! Cars were spinning off all over the shop which was good from a spectator perspective but a number of races where cut short and delayed.
