colour code for black fto!

Got some pretty nasty scratchs yesterday morning, little one put down the hand brake and rear drivers quarter panel hit gate post! :(
wondering has anyone got experience of panel respray..cost etc.. scratches not deep and no dents thank god.. :lol:
was thinking of trying the repair myself...anyone know of any diy site for a small area respray?

If they are surfaces scratches and don't penetrate the top coat then a good scratch removal compound (e.g. Poorboys, NOT T-Cut!) combined with an orbital polisher will do a great job in terms of cleaning things up.
The paintwork on my Rex was very badly scratched until I got stuck in with the right tools, see here

Just got back from carcraft, said they'd do the back 1/4 panel and passenger front 1/4 panel and bumper for a €320, including anyother minor scuffs. surprised by price, thought it would be much more....have used these guys before and I'm always happy with their work...

Thanks CJ for the tips, REx looks stunning, wish I had the free time to do all that, best i do is send her in for a full valet every three weeks.

Yep, I can recommend these guys too. Their prices are good and their colour matching is top notch.

might give them a call. am looking to get a color change and the kit fitted - just changing a few shades - nothing big.
