Suggest a date of Saturday - April 2nd - should be enough notice -
does anyone have any problem with this date?
Should be a good meet for all those West of Ireland heads who don't fancy going to Dublin and for all those Dublin heads who have never ventured beyond the pale.
Its not that difficult to get to -

Who would be interested in going?
Heres 2 names to get the party started -
1: MfFTO
2: PajEvo

Despite the likelihood of getting my ass kicked, and being more than a bit apprehensive at the prospect of driving on the same track as MyfeckinFTO with his infamous kamikaze driving style
I'll go along. Count me in!

Just a day trip for the moment - though there is a nice local tourist area to stay around - but I'd imagine it will be hard enough to get 10-12 guys to travel for the day without having to sell them on an overnight as well. I'd be up for it if there were a few others but I'm not sharing a room with you Dave!

no i'd be sharing a room with my turbo, cos knowing my luck it won't be in the car by then!!!
ah it could be an excuse for the first proper FTO session, could bring the women along to keep them happy as well! they'd all have something in common already, apart from shopping and all the rest!!

Like being FTO widows?
Yeah I'd bring along my GF if it was an overnighter - but we'll need to guage the interest from those attending. If anyone wants to overnight please state after your name on the list.

I'd be inclined to come up on the Saturday morning and head back on the Sunday, we may as well make a night of it!

Any advance on 7??
We really need about 12 for a grand prix - I can provide the additionals but it would be better if they came from the FTO forum members.

Not necessarily - I'd be up for it if there were a few travelling - we'd probably have GF's in tow as well so that would swell the ranks.

Where are you guys planning the overnighter? In Galway city or Loughrea, somewhere else completely?
Are FTO owners planning on bringing their, girlfriends, boyfriends, wives, husbands, lovers, life partners, etc?

I would suggest either Portumna or Kinvara - both would have no shortage of places to stay - Kinvara would probably be a little better as it has plenty of pubs and restuarants - and is more of a tourist area - and sure it'd be no harm to show ye Dubs a bit of Irish culture either.
Neither place is more than a short drive away - very short if our trip back into Dublin from the rolling road was anything to go by
I can book rooms when I get a better idea of numbers.

Keville and Philip are two other West of the Shannon heads that should be up for this trip. Both are on the forum from time to time and Philip (manual GPX) bought my standard exhaust off me a couple of months back.
Guys???

there won't be a huge amount, just a couple of small things and maybe one or two new things that we (as in Karl) are working on.
