I think 19's are too big on an FTO TBH - 17's are fine - 18's at the most - trying to drive around on 19's with rubber bands for tyres will have you tramlining all over the place and will affect performance. Seems a shame to have a turbo FTO and then compromise your handling.
My two pence worth, but I reckon 19's are just too big for the FTO, the GS brakes will look tiny under them as well (although I assume you'll be upgrading them come turbo time). You'd have virtually no rim protection and the ongoing cost of rubber won't be cheap. IMO 17's are a good all rounder on the FTO with regard to looks, ride quality and cumulative tyre costs.
hmmm it seems to be the general consensus alright, may just end up sticking with mine for the time being, and yeah more than likely will be getting the brakes upgraded, either up to the GPX or might hang on for a while and get the brembo big brake kit from the uk.
