Making plans for a few mods.

I am trying to decide what springs to go for on my GX. I had the chasis dynamics before on my GR and they were fine. Does anyone have the apex springs fitted? They are a few pound cheaper but need I more info on them. Help appreciated.
Also does anyone know who offers the best deals around when it comes to alloys? Halfrauds seem to be cheap but they offer no fitting service.
I ordered my Hiro replica wing from funky last week. I couldnt get an original anywhere and gave up after six months of trying.

I have apex springs - they work well :-)

Got my wheels off Terry at alloywheelsinternational - a few different sites around that operate out of the republic - Terry is in Belfast.

There's www.alloy-wheels.ie just off the top my my head - I'm reasonably sure they're the ones that do rota rims in Ireland..They're NICE ;-)

And ofcourse there's eBay.co.uk althought shipping might be steepish.

I have the Apex springs on too... didn't notice any difference in ride quality so happy enough with them.

Where to get the Apex, Ricerocket, Camskill, see some on ebay.

Alloys - do the Halfords ones come with tyres already fitted? I'd imagine most tyre places would put them on for you no probs for a small few quid. They'd probably have to balance them too.

Apex on the GR also, 20% stiffer than standard springs and handling was a bit better which I couldn't believe.
Get a set of spring clamps and you can do this job yourself in a few hours.

Thanks folks, I think I will go for the apex so. Halfords wheels come wrapped and balanced I think in falken tyres.

there's a new place in Tougher's business park, supposed to be good for wheel and tyre packages.
