What a waste of a day! Myself, Ralph and Nigel met up and headed down to Longford, we had to wait in traffic for about an hour before we got near the place, when we did, we had to park half a mile down the road from the event. When we got to the gates they were shut so we took a back exit in ;) Soon after getting into the thing (which was just a field full of muck and dirty cars), Ralphs GF phones him to say that the event had been cancelled! (she was running her ITR DC05). We got out of there fairly quickly so as to try and beat the traffic (which was mainly composed of Impreza's and Glanza's). All in, I think it was a bit of a waste of time.

Hightlights of the day were:

A red RX-7 joinging our small convoy for a few miles, nice car.
The two girls in the back of the truck with short skirts ;)

Lowlights of the day:

Waiting in traffic and some fool in a black FTO starts a burnout! Giving us a bad name I tell yeh...
Puntos, 106's, Ibiza's and Corsas looking very stupid indeed, 'nuff said.

Mike and Olivia, how did you both get on?

For any of you that were lucky enough to miss the day - I'd agree with CJ a total waste of a day. There was some nice ice in one of the sheds, have one nice photo of that and got a photo of an FTO taking a ??? off the line on the track, but you couldn't see the track well. It was behind two rows of fences with the cars wating to drag between the two fences, so you could only see the few feet of track that was on front of you - through two sets of fences and whatever car, (and every scanger in the country) was in your way !!!pain in the ar$e  .

We got there early enough, but still got stuck in traffic for a half an hour, so we hopped out and walked about a mile away from the place. Spent about an hour in there. All boy racers :?

When we left the place was full and there were hundreds of people q'ing to get in - and they were still taking thier money!!

So - to sum up - cold/wet/hungry/up to our knees in shi*e/50 quid lighter - Drag Wars - it wasn't - major DRAG - it was.

We'll chalk it down to experience  Daz - just as well you were working this weekend
