.. so my warning light came on ( A:how much petrol was there supose 2 be left ? :?: , B : it was just a 2-3 second FLASh .. after ,.. it went off  ) and i stoped at a gas station and said to myself .. i wanna make it extremely full this time .. so i did .. i put inside 64.17 L of UNLEADED
is that normal ? why my warning light didnt flash any sooner? :?: :?:

Hi Seb,

I once managed to squeeze 68l into mine..

If you stay driving after your petrol light has started flashing it'll atctually stay on.. not quite sure if it's wise to experiment with tho :)
Older cars tend to have a bit of crap at the bottom of the petrol tank and if that gets into the fule pump and fule lines there's no telling if it might get stuck somewhere..

I think it's 65..

When you fill the tank completely you fill the pipe as well

Not in the case of the FTO as the fuel feed line is right at the bottom of the tank.

I used to have circa 80kms to go when my light started to stay on. Even carried around a 5 lt fuel can for a while to see when it ran out but I always caved in before the car would run out of fuel.

The factory spec fuel tank in the FTO has a 60L capacity. Any pump that tells you that its just dumped 68 litres into the tank is miscalibrated. I seriously doubt you'd get 5L of fuel into the filling pipe either.
