Do you not lose your drivers airbag when changing a steering wheel, and if so how does that affect NCT's, insurance claims etc?

Most of us are not privileged enough to be driving FTOs with airbags. ie. our cars are before the airbag era.

Your new steering wheel should have a horn button, just hook up the existing cables to the spade connectors on the underside of the wheel.

The last Momo (Race) wheel I bought came with all the bits, what model are you getting?

Momo Millenium (bad spelling) and the hub kit, not really sure what that includes, i know it's the adapter for the streering wheel so it'll fit but it may include something for the horn.

The Millenium is a nice wheel, if a litle pricey. What are you paying for it if you don't mind me asking? The centre section of the horn includes a horn button by the way, its very straightforward to hook up.

ah nice i didn;t know if it did have a horn button, it'll be fairly handy so, i had the wheel off before, the horn wasn't working ages age so i know where the bits are.
i got the wheel and hub kit for 150 and 35 sterling from motorsport in the uk, they've a regualr add in the newsletter, and yeah it's pricey but christmas is coming early for me!!!

I'm about to order the Momo Driver and Hub Dave. Sounds like Motorsportworld are the best bet ?

Did you order by phone ?

yeah that's the best bet alright, but only thing is that they don't usually send stuff to ireland so the shipping is fairly expensive, but i ordered last thursday and got the wheel in yesterday!! happy days, but the better half has now hidden it till christmas....should be fun trying to fit that christmas day
