Yes, I'm expecting a torrent of abuse...

So the bf test drove one yesterday, garage owner was good enough to let the 2 of us out in it... OMFG...

Okay, now I have to admit I was never a fan, I think they look knackerish, despite there being only 500 in the world, 230 bhp blahblah...

But yesterday was amazing, I felt like a child with a new toy... Nothing has ever evoked so much giddiness in me to date (and no, I haven't driven an FTO yet) I mean, the back seats are taken over by a massive engine, aw man... to hear every sound coming from your engine behind is just something out of this world!!! We got so many jaw dropping looks from people yesterday!

So, obviously, my opinion has changed... Clarkson's review of it is awesome too, said it's be one of the 10 cars he'd have in his garage. There are some cons obviously, mainly the manouverability, it's like turning an oil tanker....

But anyways, I'm well impressed! Think he's gonna buy soon, wooo! What an amazing little car!

And no, I don't love them more than FTO's in case you're wondering

I like the Clio V6 - good on Renault for having the balls to develop and sell a car like that. It may have tricky handling and not be particularly fast (well not much faster than most hot hatches) - but its a car I would have no problem in owning. Its certainly different looking and does stand out on the road. Big problem is that in Ireland they are going for similar money to the Zed which is a quicker, better handling and better looking car IMO.
