Stone Chips

Postby IrishPhoenix » Tue Mar 14, 2006 12:18 pm

I recently obtained a few stone chips on my bumper from a low wall. I have tried repairing these and found the Halfords Scotia white paint set to be quite good at blending the marks away. The problem I ran into was some 'blobbing' of the paint which led to an uneven look. Have found a good site on how to repair this though.

Needed to cover up the little marks just in case they rusted. Has anyone else ever tried this and had good results?
You know, somebody actually complimented me on my driving today. They left a little note on the windscreen, it said 'Parking Fine'.

I always find that agressively polishing the areas that have been touched up helps to blend the touch up paint in with the original paintwork.
