Postby steelroe » Wed Jul 14, 2004 9:01 pm

Check this link for some very interesting reading obtained by an FTO Australia member in direct contact with someone in Mitsi that had all of the history of the FTo, including known faults ans recalled cars.

It also answers the question regarding fuel ratings in different models

Some very interesting info there alright, I was hoping my chassis no. wouldn't fall into the recall range, not the case unfortunately:

It effects vehcles with Chassis number between DE3A-0000025 and DE3A-0013017 and production dates Oct/03/1994~Oct/31/1995 for the GPX and GR.

AND VEHICLES BETWEEN DE2A-0000008~DE2A-0001566 ,PRODUCTION DATES Oct/13/1994~March/03/1995.

Not a massive issue mind you so I'm not that worried.

Ya, seems to be only 1 claim against them on it so can't be too common. Wonder how many unexplained problems there was with these that people took ages to work out what the f... was wrong.
