not his car then, you find out pretty quickly what your engine size is when you're paying your road tax!
There was a 1.6 FTO in Autotrader recently too!

It would be better still if he was actually paying motor tax for a 2.2L. 
I once had an FTO mivec described to me as a 2.2L. This coming from a dealer -Tom Stafford motors, who specialise in Jap imports
