Depends on budget really - Breather mods are fairly typical - Filter (ITG/HKS etc) or cold Air induction kit, Decat or high flow cats, less restrictive exhaust, manifold and downpipe, uprated fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator and aftermarket ECU can also help, Denso plugs, remove air con (reduces engine load + weight) - if you still have some change then some bored out throttle bodies - theres no end to the money you can spend but to be honest you won't gain a significant amount of power - my advice is to fit an ITG filter and an aftermarket Cat back exhaust and enjoy the sound - any leftover bucks should go on improving suspension and brakes.

The aftermarket ECU's are not FTO specific so anything like a Greddy emanage or Apexi unit should suffice - obviously you'll need to get it mapped in somewhere like Westward Engineering (they also supply aftermarket ECU's).

Stick up some pictures of this FTO of yours - sounds quite interesting.

BTW - you won't see any considerable power increases without going down a turbo route - be it an EVO or 2.5l twin turbo galant engine - if you want increased performance start to loose some weight from the car - my last FTO weighted in at 1160kgs (1200 as standard) at its NCT and that was with 1/2 tank of fuel and spare tyre with the rear seats still in (weren't normally in). The best mod for increased performance in an FTO.

I put Mongoose downpipes on mine (available from Ricerocket), gave a bit extra torque.

Don't think mffto mentioned heat gaskets? Guys on the UK forum got some made up so they surface every so often. Reduces the temperature in the intake manifold (and thus the air coming into the engine is cooler).

For pics, you can put the address (http://whatever.com/pic.jpg) of the pic between the tokens (no space), or just point to the pics with a link using the url tokens. Just try not to have the pics too big in size!

ftolam13 you're asking, right? I spent all yesterday underneath the car (physically) refitting my exhaust & downpipes. Them lifter ramps are your friend, pity I don't have one... never worked so hard lying on the ground! (keep it clean! )

0469541622 - ask for Martin.

Note that theres very little in the way of aftermarket ECUs (piggyback or otherwise) that will give you a significant increase in performance (regardless of mods). The only unit that I've come across that can offer potential increases is the Mines ROM (cost is approx 2k without mapping).

As per MfFTO, turbo charging is the way forward if your budget allows. Just remember to get lauch control fitted!
