break pads

Postby karlf » Sat Oct 14, 2006 2:19 am

Is there any other mitsi car with break pads (front and rear) that fit a 96 gs auto? Every time i mention fto i get the same answer "we wouldn't stock these, they'l have to be ordered special. It'l take a few days to get them if the supplier has them in stock, if not maybe a couple of weeks". Thought maybe a galant or carisma might be the same. Getting a service done tomorrow and my sis's fella couldn't get the pads (my fault i only asked him today cause my mechanic (a friend) let me down)

The GS shares front and rear pads with the Mirage and Lancer (imports).

Hey-
What about the GPX, does is share pads with anything?
Don't suppose the bolts on the calipers have left hand threads?
No shiftin those babies....

.....Managed to finally shift those goddamn bolts, tightest bolts I've ever seen anywhere.

P.S. I was able to get the pads on next day delivery from my local motor factors, ~€31 for a full front set.
