hey peeps just to let you know i got my first fto its only a 95 tho, i always wanted one, jus wanna know , did i do the right thing. CRACKING CAR. any advixce would be appreciated .THANKS

Are you crazy?! Did you do the right thing?! See if you're asking that in a week, no, a days, time. Absolutely done the right thing. Nothing like the FTO experience! Congrats. What type is she?

you'll find the huge majority of FTO's are 95. Nothing to be ashamed of!

30,000 out of the 36,500 FTOs made were produced in 94-95 so it's certainly not an issue.

You definitely made the right choice. Buying an FTO is the second best decision I've ever made in my life.

Before I bought my FTO I was looking aroud for some nice performance car. I saw few different cars but only FTO stuck in my brain as the one :wink:

Not sure where you are getting those figures from :smt017

Production figures hereare very different. i.e. 9741 built in '95 and a total of 16438 made.

Well I never saw those figures before. I'd be very sceptical of the 1994 production figures though, wasn't it mid to late '94 when production began? If they are correct, most of those cars must have been registered in 1995.

I presumed they were just registered as 95s, but I don't know how much faith I have in those figures either. Your source doesn't quote any production for 94, which doesn't make much sense - however I can't find any Mitsubishi records for 94, only 95 onwards.

its a gpx model. only 67000 on clock too.which isnt bad

i guess everybody modifies their car the way they like .. just spend a little time readinng the forum and i'm sure you will find some mods to do on your FTO.

lol ''the man '' thats funny.

there are different threads / subforums about meets/ insurance/ nct / general stuff , whwre you can find the answer for most of your Questions ( as we all did when we joined ).
You will find that not all of the insurers ''love'' the FTO .

Quinn Direct seems to be good at this .
Just get a few quotes and see wich one suits u best
