Spotted: A centre console from a Black FTO!

I was down with my panal beater this morning, he brought me into his sitting room to reveal a complete centre console and instrument surround from he had painted in steel silver, I have to say, the finish was excellent. If Robert is reading this, get in touch, we're only around the corner from one another.

Has he done anything to it to stop the paint coming off when the plastic expands with heat?? Id say it woud look well
