DVD DL burner

I am looking to purchase a DVD DL burner, either for my Dell Laptop or the desktop. Anyone have any suggestions or have a preffered make model.

I've been really happy with my samsung "write master" have 3 of the SATA ones and one NEC IDE "OptiArc" as well.. they all work really well...

I'd offer to sell you one, but they're so cheap now that there's no sense in not getting one from new..

oh I had a HP one as well (one of the 1st with Lightscribe) wasn't worth the extra money..

Stay well clear of lite-on it'll last you 12 months if you're lucky.
