Stepper Motor for GR available.

I have a stepper motor from a GR I don't need, as the stepper won't fit the mivec. I would keep it, because they are very handy to have as a spare I hear, but there is no point if I can't use it on the mivec. Send offers by pm,

GR and mivec stepper motor are exactly the same. GS is diff

The stepper motor on my mivec is different to the one I took from the GR. They go into the same place, but the mivec one is definitely not the same, unless it goes on the other side of the engine and I haven't seen it. The mivec one has three securing bolts, instead of the 2 from the GR. The mivec stepper was also a brownish colour. When I removed the mivec stepper there was no protruding structure coming from the stepper, rather that part was in the plenum itself. Any ideas here anyone? I thought they were the same too, but not after I went at it with my tool kit.

The stepper is for sale if anyone wants it. Worked perfectly fine when it was still attached to the 95 GR I broke.

100% the GR and GPX are the same. Changed enought in my time.
Yes the older ones were a brownish colour. I think from your description you removed the wrong srews. Trhe older one has 3 screws that allow you to open uo the motor. Newer one is a sealed unit from memory.

hmmmmm. That's good news if you're right then. Strange thing is the mivec is a 97 with the brownish colour. The GR stepper came from a 94 and was a black one. I will hang onto the stepper myself if it is a match fit then. On hold until I confirm this.
