Jesus a couple of those 0-60 were unbelieveably fast.

Saw a new model TT yesterday...kinda girly.
Saw a convertible TT shortly after......really girly.

I actually agree with you - although a design icon the mk1 is a bit of a girlie looking car which doesn't really lend itself to aggressive aftermarket styling (I've seen some shockers) but the inside it's a sweet place to be and it doesn't handle as bad as some people say.
