Beside a Veyron in traffic...

Postby mark » Thu Dec 04, 2008 4:24 pm

Driving up the Malahide road today around Clare Hall and all of a sudden spot a Bugatti Veyron (NI plates) up ahead! Pull up beside it, such an amazing car, your man driving it almost hit me as he pulled out of his lane into mine, possible mental expensive mistake!
Anyway these things are soo wide, I know we saw one at the Phoenix Park races last year but to be up near one in traffic is truly cool. :D
What recession?!

Wonder what they have as the OMSP!! but if you can afford to buy a Veyron you're not going to be worried about 2k a year tax!

yeah the tax is for nothing, was a UK reg well, Norn Iron, so they may have a house that cost 15k and keep the car here for tax reasons! OMSP is probably about 10 million euros if the 'government' have anything to do with it. I remember one guy in the papers a few years ago was being charged 335,000 for VRT on a Carrera GT! He didn't bring it in in the end, wonder why. Actually I've been in touch with the guy in Galway who owns a Veyron, I email him to see if he knows, watch this space!

Guys what is going on in these pictures. Is the Bugatti broken down and they are trying to rise the front of it to get it on the truck. Or is it being delivered

It'd be cheaper to buy a house in England, just to use as an address to register it at
