Few things

Couple of things, well, more than a couple to be honest....
1 - These bloody headlights again! The condensationy stuff, I washed the windows today and did the outside of the lights too, when I came to the one with the 'stuff' on it, it feels like its outside the lense, feels rough and like a load of scratches, but its spreading. Going to take it to the mechanic down home to have a look at it but I have a feeling I'd be better off getting a new lense. If its not condensation what could it be?
2 - While I was washing the windows I noticed a lot of little scratches on my driver's window, like a branch scrope it or something. any way of getting these hidden a bit?
3 - I want to polish my exhaust, dont want to risk putting stainless steel polisher on it till I know for sure its safe. Is it?
4 - Another small thing, in case I ever use my flare, (seeing as Cork made the All-Ireland!), can I get a refill?
5 - I see a lot of people are spraying the centre consoles, I was looking at doing that too, white for me, but how does it come off, I resprayed the interior of my old car but I had the Haynes manual to tell me where the clips are, I dont want to go messing around with the console on this till I know for sure what to watch for.
6 - Last Q, is Factor 15 enough for the sun? I got scalded yesterday and I'll be damned if its happening again!!!!

1 - sounds like the peeling on the headlight, a v common prob (hoping to get my drivers light done this week) with a reasonably easy fix, well bit of work but not too difficult to do. Do a search on the site, there's a few have done it.

5. are you talking about the radio surround, or the clock/gauge surround, or both?

Radio surround basically just pops out of place, but be careful, loads of people have broke that trying to get it out. Mines a manual and holding it around the edges of the gear gaiter seems to work well, gently working it out up along it.

The clock/gauge surround is basically 2 screws, IIRC, just above the radio. Trying to think whether there's a screw up top too?

I have that too - seems like laquer on the outside or something. Its pitting near the top of the lens.

Get rid of it now - dont think they're legal here and, more importantly, it's probably out of date and liable to go on fire!!
The insurance mightn't cover you either if the car went up because of it..
In any case, check the date on it.

Ya the headlight thing looks like resin or something. I'll try the net so, might turn something up. Let me know if you get yours done kevonod and where and I might do the same.
The flare I will be getting rid of, hopefully on the 3rd sunday of September.
As for the olive oil..........would sunflower oil not be better?
