Stall when stop

1995 gr tipronic stalls when i stop at roundabouts or junctions. doesnt do it all the time but its dome it 3 times today. what could it be? jamming butterfly? idle controll? i do notice that when in drive and holding the brake down the engines only turning at about 300 rpm.

you hardly changed your battery recently? that can sometimes cause those symptoms. If not, you might need to check your idle adjustment screw.

Totally sounds like stepper motor..try cleaning that 1st..

ok ive identified the stepper. just give it a clean with some thinners or somthing?
