hi. i got me ftoi n may in from japan, it has sat nav but i cant get a cd with ireland mapped on it. its da miyubishi sat nav. does anyone know where i start looking. i called into my local sat nav shop and he could not help me.

I had this problem too when i got mine. Still didn't find a retailer who could get a cd for it....!!!

Best bet is to give up on it now or replace the unit!! :?

I'm open to correction on this one (Adrian?) but I would say it will be next to impossible to pick up a CD\DVD that will work with the Jap system. Whats model by the way, Panasonic perchance?

Next to impossible is right. All the ones carWatch do are just PC compatible..... later

its a mitubishi sat nav wid tv. it built into da center console just over da radio. if i cannot get da cd is der anything i can fill in da space wid cos at da minute it just annoyin me not been able to use it

Its just the same size as the radio right? In which case you could get a tray thingy to put in there. Could get one in good nick for very little from a breakers I reckon.

Alternatively there are blanking plates, like here:

I guess you could just put in another screen or something similar either?

thanks for da help. it a 98 model maybe it different. da radio is at da bottom and da sat nav on top. dunno if radio wil fit on top seems a bit different in size. does anyone have similar model maybe could send me a pic so i could kno wat i lookin for

My car came in with a Jap Sat Nav system as well - had a look for relevant software/CD's etc but had no luck - its now sitting in the shed gathering dust but better than in the boot adding weight. :wink:
