Dan, you'd be doing us all a favour if you didn't bad mouth tiptronics on other message boards. You're certainly not endearing yourself to the large number of tip owners on this forum, all of whom will be looking to sell on at some point in the future. Comments like this don't help our community one bit.

Do not knock the tip FTO unless you have driven for a length of time, a 10 min test rive will not geive you a real feel for it.

Dont you hate seeing your old car not being looked after. Especially if you had it as class looking as Dave's one was.

Also annoying that the new owner would be so lazy as to not prepare the car and take their own photos, and instaed use old ones that are now years old and do not show the car in it's current condition.

i heard that the guy who had my car alright wasn't treating it too good, i got a picture from a friend of it during rag week parked in the middle of town!!

While everybody is admiring this car, and yes it does look well, bare in mind that those photos (the ones I can see on this forum) are at least two years old, are there any current photos?

As Elaine was saying above, the front bumper is in bits now and it's probably in need of some work I'd say!!
Still one of the most head turning cars I've ever owned though and I wouldn't reckon it'd cost too much to get back to it's former glory!
Whoever buys it may post some pictures of her now though!!

Whats up people......im the guy taking this fto off the owners hands and restoring it to its original condition.......all needs is rpm clock to be wired correctly and front bumper needs to be fixed up and sprayed other than that its very clean and runs perfectly.......i have been quite impressed by this car i must say and am considering keeping it for m road car however...........if some one would like to take it off my hands and make me an offer for it they can do so VIA PM........Cheers......
