Speaking of Travel Scrabble - This is Father Ted country - we could take a spin by Father Teds house on the way to West Clare - or maybe have a look at the Holy stone of Clonrickard- its mad fun here I tell ya!

Ted's place is worth seeing down there. Would make a nice picture to have a line of FTOs up the driveway. Here is a memory of my last visit....that's not me in the pic btw



It was a pure b1tch getting the FTO on to that poxy ferry out to Craggy Island though. Nearly tore my front spoiler off getting it on there when I went on after the bus

It's in Co. Clare, in a townland called Glenquin, on the Boston road from Kilnaboy, which is on the Kilfenora side of Corofin (Corofin is about 15 mins from Ennis)

The owners are actually opening the place to the public and serving tea.
No indoor scenes for Fr.Ted were actually filmed in this house though, these were all done in London.
