A plague on their house! lol. Its hard to have pride in your car when there are so many begrudgers out there. Hope it never happens again.

You know, somebody actually complimented me on my driving today. They left a little note on the windscreen, it said 'Parking Fine'.

Glad to hear the alarm seems to have scared them away! It would prob be worth reporting it to the gards with whatever info you do have, might help them with looking for other cars.

That f**king sucks. I have so much hatred for these guys (and anyone like them)! Glad the car is safe though!

GROWL!

I'm in that area all the time - sadly there's loads of thieving scum about.
When I had my honda parked upside-down in the Field just outside Duleek there were lads with spanners within 24hours.
Also the FTO atracts an unnatural interest from the "local boyos" when parked up outside jumping bean on the main street (Delish Sambos there!).
I'd be inclined to hook up a battery to the door handles - locks (stick wee metal plates on the underside of the handles).
If I ever see anybody touch my car there will be blood (it'll probably be mine as the scummer will have a screwdriver and I'll have my wuzzy arms).

*************
Of course not all people in that particular area are bad people..I'm merely says that the percentage appears to be slightly higher than elsewhere.

The Eejits obviously hadn't a clue what they were at. If they'd gotten in they wouldn't have known what to do anyways.

I hope they got badly injured in the process of mishandling their screwdriver - I also hope they run out in front of a truck while they were running away.

Wow that is lucky :-)
As a result of this I've decided to delock my handles as soon as my caralarm thing arrives - if there are no locks the twocers can't break them..

Uhm, that's true - I suppose I wouldn't delock the boot - could alway climb in there..Did that a lot in my old Mazda back in Denmark - perhaps some sort of emergency button that would activate the central locking.
Just got my alarm in the post - will be fitting it over the nex t couple of days.. should be a challenging.

If you haven't done something like that before I'd consider getting it done by a professional alarm installer... I was told before that an alarm is only as good as the installation. Not meaning to discourage, but for something like an alarm it might be worth thinking about!

Ah yeah I have - it's just been a while ..

Just had a quick browse over the installation instructions there - they seem to be detailed and pretty straight forward - but admittedly it does look like it's not going to be a 2 hour job.. More like a 20hour thing with loads of squirming around on the floor.

Oh man... Danny, you were lucky! Worst feeling in the world to go out to your baby in the morning & for it to be gone!!! :smt089

I'd love to know whatever happened to the gentlemen that relieved me of my FTO for 2 weeks? Humm...

Anyways, new Clifford alarm has everyone too peed-off with my baby to steal it! :smt076 yaaay for proximity alerts!
