Postby technikhaus » Tue Jun 05, 2012 12:09 pm

Hey all,
I thought I may link here to a video guide we made a few months back, might help some people who have never done it before.
I know When I first did it, I wanted a video to show me, but there where only ones for other cars

Changing your Oil and Filter | Mitsubishi FTO GPX | Visual Owners Manual From Youtube.com

we've got a few more to edit and upload, they will keep coming,
Hope it's helpful to some people 8)

I've seen your videos on youtube before... the "how to open your bonnet" one was especially helpful

I'll move these into the knowledgebase.

Is that with or without a sunroof Goz (not that it makes a difference...)?

hehe :)

I'll have to measure it myself. Unless anyone else has experienced a difference in roof height between ftos with and without a sunroof (not including sunroof cavity). I personally have noticed no difference.

haha, I swear there is a difference :p
Next time Nick is around with his FTO, I will measure them both, and provide a video if need be :p

Yeahhhhhh! A video to measure from floor to roof. I'll measure the 3 FTOs currently within my reach. The gr, gx aero and the gpx with a sunroof.

Maybe the measuring tape is playing tricks on you. What were the measurements you got for sunroof and without?

Should be interesting. The gr is a 94. The gpx (sunroof) is a 97 and the gx is a 99.

Did you get your wheel sorted? I remember you had a video a while back were one of the FTO's wheels was not turning correctly.

Still need to take that video :/ But I got into Braydon's car and nearly broke my sunnies on the roof- never happens in my car!

@Chris- That was my car- I had taken it to the mechanic a week or two back (for an unrelated break down) and had the guys look at it. Turns out that both rear calipers had seized somewhat causing the dragging. I've nearly doubled my fuel efficiency after having it fixed!
