Postby miss-enzo » Sat Jul 19, 2008 1:11 pm

Right since i was sent the wrong spark plugs and dont have the time to be waitin around to get the right set i have to get plugs durin the week. the place I'm gettin them cant get the denzos but he can get my platinum ones....

So what i wanna know is... should i just hold off and wait for the denzos or will platinums do?

Don't know a lot about the platinum ones, but my reckoning is you prob wouldn't tell the difference between running either. Difference is the material used for the tips, platinum vs iridium... some google searches will compare them for ya I guess.

JUst get replacements from camskill. Sure he is going to have to remove the inlet manifold anyway so why not wait.

I'd do the waiting thing as well - it'll be worth it :-)

Iridiums last longer(by about 10k IIRC) than Platinums and are usually rated as better performing. As Kev has mentioned, the difference is negligable however. If Platinums are all you can get to get you out of a hole, get 'em.
