There are some like that available on ebay think they are a bit more expensive though. Have a look at them and see what you prefer. If it was me I'd get the one I'd prefer regardless of price, you'll probably only regret it later if you settle for second best.

Come on lads one more and we're in business. I was down the post office today to check postal costs, but it will depend on the weight of the package so once we have them, weigh them I'll let you know. Collection is fine with me if that would suit better.
Dont worry lads if we dont get a fifth I'll get the extra one and flog it on e-bay.

Good Stuff thats the 5 so. I'll try get them made up as soon as I can, hopefully this weekend. It depends on how busy my sis's fella is in work.
Does everyone want it made in 1.2mm stainless steel plate?? We can go 1.2 or 1.5mm. My sis's fella reckons the 1.2mm would be strong enough, and it might be better for clearence for the bonet to close. Not that 0.3mm will make that much of a difference.

Its no problem. I pointed out earlier in the thread that there were ones with the FTO logo and mitsi badge on ebay as thats what kizersozey was after.
I just want one with no logo as do some of the other lads. Personaly I just think they are nicer without, although that mirrored stainless does look nice.

No bother your better of getting what you'd prefer anyway. No point buying it then regretting it in the end.
Anyone else?

Yeah I'll sort all that out once they are made. For those that want to collect them in person cash is probably the best option. Anyone else can go through paypal, I'll send all the details in due course.
I dont want you's paying for them and then waiting until my sis's fella gets a chance to get to the factory to knock them out. He's hoping to get them done on saturday but if he gets a call to go somewhere he mightn't get a chance to do them. I'd rather just wait till there done and sort everything out then, at least that way no one will get frustrted waiting for bits to arrive.
Might even start doing a line of plain stainless steel if this goes well.

Yeah, you could look at doing the speedo surround if all goes well? Its an ideal job for someone in a fabrication place where he can do it for cash. Never gonna make big money, but I wouldn't turn it down.

Sorry I haven't been on the last few days to update you on these. He started making them up on saturday but got a call to go to Limerick and Thurles to fix some ovens. He's hoping to finish them off this weekend. I'm even going down to edenderry to fit spot lights in his house to free him up for sunday so hopefully he'll get the done. Will keep you posted.

He only made up the four as thats all that was wanted. I could get him to make more no problem will just be a bit of a wait until he gets a chance to get to the factory again. He already has the four made up and I'll have them this evening. So how do you guys want to collect them/ have them sent?

Well they are a little different than I thought. He decided to make it with the cut out for the radiator similar to the original one. Its smaller than the other original but he still went with the curve rather than rectangular. He never told me he was doing them this way hope it still ok. Looks good IMHO. What do you think?

I didn't put it on properly, just placed it in position to give you an idea of how it will look.

He said he'll do up another one no problem. As I said it will just be a bit of a wait until he gets to the factory to cut it out, he has the programme now so its not a big deal. He reckons next weekend, maybe during the week depending what part of the country he's in (he works all over Ireland). Any one else want one? Better to get them all made up at once rather than one at a time.
