Postby MIVEC » Tue Sep 28, 2004 8:25 pm

Hi there,

Do you have to use the original wheel nuts with original FTO alloys?

I having difficulty finding a full set. Does any body have any or know anywhere taht is breaking FTOs at the moment.

Many thanks in advance

Before someone else gets in there, I'll say it - ask Steelroe, he might be able to rustle up a set.

That man is becoming very elusive these days, I think he's in hiding ;)

Mivec, Galant nuts will also fit if you're having problems picking up a set.

Apologies in advance
to Mivec for hijacking his post
To Shane for hijacking the sale of his car...

Don't suppose Steelroe will have his FTO with him as well?
It's just I'll be in Portlaoise for the weekend if you guys were interseted to meet up for a little while..would be a chance to put some faces to the names. Last FTO meet with your pride and joy Shane!
Although, I am planning a bit of car related work for Saturady, which might have it off the road for a few hours.
I don't want to interupt but if you want to meet for a while let me know.

Yes , Its For the GP vR Im selling. The Gold alloys look bad with the white body.

Does anyone have the phone number for N4 Recovery- Steelroe told me they are breaking a FTO.

Or any other Jap breakers in the Dublin Area?

Thanks

How about you just get the existing alloys refurbished (White or Carbon springs to mind)???

It would be a lot cheaper than buying an orig set and would look a lot better.

Mivec, check out the parts suppliers section on the Services page, you can find contact details for N4 as well as other suppliers\breakers.

Im considering doing that but for the moment I am going to go with Mitsubishi alloys as I have already bought them. It might be worth doing though because the are flawless alloys with excellent new dunlop tyres.

I dont think I would sell the suspension - Its one of the best selling points of the car. Im not sure how exactly how much its worth but its fully height and stiffness adjustable and Tein is a really good make.

Thanks for the Tip CJ I diddn't even think of looking there.

Cheers
