Damn it Bernard, if I'd know I could have dropped out the car and left it with you for the day.

Car looked great at the meet, See you've done away with the kevlar. Will the rubbing strips on the doors be the next victim?

You'd have been luck to get a rinse!
All that talk about polishing on Cjs OCD thread got me thinking, I had a day off on Saturday and spent it on the car.
Six hours of waxing on and off (Mr. Miyagi would be proud) and just garaged again before the rain :D

Dont even think of it....they're there for a reason and its there they'll stay, shame every other car wouldnt have them I mightnt have 2 little dinks otherwise! Also they're stuck well on so taking them off risks pulling the paintwork and chipping it. Regarding the kevlar I swopped it out for the show cause I know it didnt look right at the moment but more than likely it'll be left out as part of a much bigger plan. Didnt spend 3 months doing it for nothing, and I did it cause I like doing diy and thinking outside the box not cause I have too much time on my hands, before anyone thinks that!
But it was well polished up all right on Sunday, fair play. Looked very well in the pics, brought a tear to my eye. I'd nearly go as far as saying it looked more polished than I ever got it. :)
