Find a quiet isolated straight road, accelerate to about 40/50 mph the brake hard and do this 7/8 times and that should do it.

ebc green stuff

Ok did the pads last weekand went through the breaking in pro,,7 to 8 times at 50mph and breaking hard,,only problem is they still feel quite sponge,,is this normal for a few more hundred miles or so??i recon there is about a good inch and a half at least of pedal travel before they bite hard.
At slow speed you can feel the pads biting at about an inch.
just wondering if i should have blead the rear as well, or is there a certain order of bleading.

THANX GUYS

Aiden, you only really need to bleed the brake lines when changing the brake fluid, the order is:

Near side rear
Off side front
Off side rear
Near side front

(Near side = LHS, Off side = RHS)

I find that it can take a while for pads to bed in properly, evening after 'breaking them in'.

CJ's right here, it usually takes a while for pads to bed in fully regardless of whether you do the whole exercise of breaking them in via a few high speed stops... just drive carefully for a few days ;)
