Also sleek sent me out my recepit for the S&S today so it's all getting a bit confusing at this late stage.
So would there be any other 1/4 mile takers.
Question for some of you guys who have ran before: What sort of times do you think one could get on the 1/4 mile, I'd like to think I could be pretty competitive if I lost a bit of weight and set the mivec timer pretty low.
Then again your probably going to be withing the mivec range for most the run bar the start anyway
Myfeckin FTO wrote:You'll have a much better chance of getting away early from the 1/4 mile than the show & shine as you're pretty much barricaded into the arena untill evening in the Show & Shine while you can take off straight after the 1/4 mile otherwise.
That FTO of yours has run 15.1 sec 1/4 mile times though I do believe it has late 14's in it which would be very competitive for an FTO.
Don't mess with the Mivec Controller - the standard Mitsi mivec levels are the optimum - if you set the mivec lower you are just getting peak power earlier but pettering out at higher revs - if you set it higher then you'll drop out of mivec zone between gear changes.
I just seen on the site that they need your NCT cert,
I hope this is the one on the window and not the actual full cert.
Anybody clued in on this?

Typical!! the place is closed on wednesday and there is no fax no... so I dont suppose "snail mail" is going to mak the return trip in time??
Meet in Birdhill on the Sunday morning somewhere around 0815 - 0830.
If you go through Birdhill and past the busstop you'll see a layby (old co-op on the right hand side of the road).
